Edmond joined Kerry’s Graduate Programme in 1996, after graduating from the University College Cork with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. During his more than 20-year career in the organisation, he has held a range of senior leadership positions across three geographical regions. In October 2017, Edmond was named Kerry Group’s CEO and Executive Director. From Kerry’s Ireland headquarters, he provides executive oversight for all areas of the business, from research and development and innovation to manufacturing and supply chain.
Since joining Kerry, Edmond’s roles have exposed him to all facets of the Kerry business. In 2004 he was named Vice President of Finance, Supply Chain and Operations of Kerry's Global Flavours Division. He next moved into the role of Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions in Kerry Americas before serving as Global President of Kerry Functional Ingredients & Actives. He held this position from 2008 until 2012, when he was named President of Kerry China. He was later promoted to CEO of Kerry Asia Pacific, a role that allowed him to lead a series of transformational investments in the region, including expanding the operational footprint by establishing a regional Technology & Innovation Centre in Singapore, creating multiple regional application and development centres and opening new production facilities in six countries. A native of County Kerry, Edmond holds an accounting qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Gerry joined Kerry’s Graduate Programme as a Staff Accountant and Controller in 1986 after graduating from the University College Cork. In 1988, he transferred to the U.S. to serve as the Financial Division Controller overseeing the Beatreme acquisition, Kerry’s largest and most significant acquisition at the time. During his 30-year career, Gerry has held a number of senior financial and business management roles, including Chief Operating Officer for the Americas region.
In 2008, Gerry was appointed President & CEO for the Americas region, where he led out regional advancement of our 1 Kerry vision. In 2011, he was appointed to his current role as President and Chief Executive Officer for Kerry’s global taste and nutrition business, where he led the global implementation of 1 Kerry and most recently, our ongoing evolution to become the industry’s leading taste and nutrition company.
John joined Kerry in 1997, after graduating from Queens University Belfast. Since then he’s held leadership positions across a number of Kerry lines of business. Most recently, John was named President & CEO of Kerry Asia, Middle East and Africa, based out of Singapore. With his rich experience in strategic planning, John helps Kerry leverage its significant taste, nutrition and systems capability to grow business across emerging and established markets.
Prior to this promotion, John held several executive roles with Kerry. In 2002 he was appointed Divisional Financial Controller for Kerry Foods. Two years later, John relocated to the U.S. to serve as Vice President of Finance Flavours. Following his successes in that role, he was named General Manager of Natural Products. In 2012, John moved back to Ireland to take on the position of President of Beverage & LETS. He was again promoted, after four years in that role, this time to President of Taste, Dairy & Culinary of Kerry Europe.
Michael began his Kerry career more than 20 years ago as a Graduate in the UK. Since then, he has worked in the Consumer Foods business and the Taste and Nutrition business in finance, procurement and executive roles in both a regional and global context. He has worked extensively with the Global and Regional Executive Teams in our 1 Kerry transformation and now in the design and implementation of our taste and nutrition Strategy.
During his career at Kerry, he has been based in both EMEA and North America, while also spending regular periods of time working with our teams in the developing regions. He is now the President & CEO of Kerry’s business in North America.
Malcolm joined Kerry as a Graduate Accountant from Dublin City University in 1988. He spent three years in the U.S. as Plant Controller and Corporate Commercial Controller before his promotion to Finance Director for Kerry Mexico and then to Finance Director for Kerry South America in 1998. In 2003, Malcolm was appointed President of Kerry’s LATAM business and served in that role for 13 years. He returned to Ireland in 2016 after being appointed President & CEO of Kerry’s EMEA region.
Malcolm speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese and believes strongly that to understand consumer demand in a region, one must to delve into the culture and be truly able to bring local insight to our customers.
John joined Kerry in 2002 from Deloitte Ireland, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He spent three years in the US in Plant and Commercial Finance roles before he was transferred to Mexico as Commercial Finance Manager in 2005. He was promoted to Finance Director for Latin America in 2007 and later appointed Chief Operating Officer for the region.
In 2013, he was appointed President for the Dairy & Culinary business in LATAM. Following Kerry’s acquisition of Baltimore Spice in 2015, he relocated to Costa Rica as Interim General Manager for the Central America sub region. He now serves as President of Kerry LATAM. John graduated from the University College Cork, speaks English and Spanish and lives in Queretaro, Mexico.
Marguerite Larkin was a senior partner with Deloitte and has held a number of leadership roles within Deloitte Ireland including Audit & Assurance and Risk Advisory Leader, Head of Consumer Business Industry Practice and Client & Industries Partner. She has over 25 years global experience and has served as lead client partner for a number of the firm’s largest clients operating in a broad range of industries including food & beverage, pharma and technology. She is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Masters in Accounting.
Khaled joined Kerry’s U.S. Dairy R&D team as part of the Graduate Programme in 1996 after earning his Ph.D in Food Engineering from The Ohio State University. In his early years at Kerry, he held senior R&D leadership positions in the U.S. and Canada. In 2009, Khaled was promoted to Senior Vice President for R&D for North America and played a key role in the development of Kerry’s first Technology & Innovation Centre in Beloit, Wisconsin.
After relocating to Ireland in 2012, Khaled was instrumental developing the Global Technology & Innovation Centre in Naas and building a global R&D team to leverage Kerry’s innovation and technology capabilities. He relocated to Singapore in 2014 to lead the Asia-Pacific R&D function while maintaining his Global CTO role.
Albert joined Kerry in 1993 as an R&D scientist in the Dairyland Group, after earning a PhD in Biochemistry from Trinity College Dublin and the French National Institute for Agricultural Research. In the two-plus decades since, Albert has held senior leadership roles with Kerry in North America and Europe. After leading companywide innovation as Chief Innovation Officer, he was named Global Chief Technology Officer in 2018. In this position, Albert serves as the global executive for RD&A and innovation across all of Kerry, including taste, FI&A, integrated systems , sensory, analytical and regulatory.
Following early successes in his career with Kerry, Albert relocated to France to assume a sales director role for Kerry’s fruit preparation business . The subsequent years held a number of new positions with Kerry for Albert, including Managing Director and later CEO of Kerry’s Sweet and Fruit division. Albert served as CEO of Kerry Europe, Middle East and Africa before being appointed Chief Technology Officer for Kerry’s global Functional Ingredients & Actives business. In 2016, Albert was appointed Chief Innovation Officer for Kerry’s global Taste & Nutrition business, where he was responsible for driving Kerry’s innovation programme by leveraging the company’s taste, nutrition and general wellness capabilities.
Neil joined Kerry in 2017 as Global President & CEO of the Functional Ingredients & Actives (FI&A) division. Prior to joining Kerry, he held executive positions within the food and beverage industry, including at Sensient Technologies and Golden State Foods Corporation, a leading manufacturer and distributor for the global QSR industry. As the global executive for FI&A at Kerry, Neil is charged with driving and managing rapid growth within the functional and active ingredients portfolio of technologies. From the company’s North America headquarters, he leads a worldwide team focused on delivering solutions that respond to key consumer trends, both global and regional.
Throughout his career, Neil has developed and executed successful business growth strategies in global technical marketplaces, driving transformational change and building high performance teams by identifying and nurturing talent. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Golden State Foods Corporation and, while at Sensient Technologies, served as Chief Operating Officer. This came after serving for two years as Sensient’s President of the Flavours and Fragrances Group and five years as President of the Dehydrated Products Division. Neil holds an MBA from the University of Bath; he earned his undergraduate degree from Loughborough University.
Alan joined Kerry’s Graduate Programme in 2000, coming on board as a Taxation Accountant for Kerry Europe. Following a series of promotions and international moves, he stepped into his most recent role, Global Chief Operating Officer, in 2018. From Kerry’s North America headquarters, Alan serves as global executive for Kerry functions including process manufacturing; quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE); engineering; supply chain and customer care.
Alan’s early career with Kerry was spent in a series of finance positions in Ireland. He relocated to the U.S. in 2004, working across several businesses and functions before ultimately becoming Business Unit Vice President for Finance and Supply Chain. In 2012, he was named Vice President & General Manager of Lipids, Emulsifiers and Texturant Systems for North America. In 2013 he moved to Shanghai as Vice President & General Manager of Kerry Ingredients and Flavours in China and in 2014, he was named Chief Operating Officer of Kerry Asia Pacific.
Shane joined Kerry in 1999 as a Finance Graduate. Since then, he has held a number of senior finance positions for Kerry across Europe and North America, including his most recent promotion, to Global Chief Financial Officer, Taste & Nutrition. Shane provides executive leadership across the following areas: commercial and technology performance management; pricing, margin and risk management; operations and supply chain performance management; strategic and capital investment; and leadership of the finance function including talent development.
Andy joined Kerry in 1991 as Marketing Manager for North America, having
earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from Michigan State University. Since
then, he has held various leadership roles in sales, marketing and
general management including President of Kerry’s Seasonings &
Foodservice business from 2001-2006, and President of North America’s
Beverage business from 2007-2010.
In 2012, Andy joined Kerry’s Global Executive Team when he took on his current role as Chief Marketing Officer.
Robert joined Kerry in 2011 as Global Programme Director of the 1Kerry Transformation Programme. In that role he led the establishment of the KerryExcel Programme, implementing Kerry’s global operating model and driving savings and efficiencies.
Since then, Robert has held senior roles in strategy and marketing in our North America and our global Functional Ingredients and Actives Businesses. He led the development of the Nutrition Discovery Centre in our Global Technology and Innovation Centre in Naas and the Taste and Nutrition Discovery Center in our North America headquarters in Beloit, Wisconsin. Robert was named Global Chief Strategy & Planning Officer in 2017.
Prior to joining Kerry, Robert worked as a management consultant for almost six years with McKinsey & Company based in London and Dublin. He also held several leadership positions in the energy and telecom sectors with Shell and KPN/TNO while living in the Netherlands. Robert holds a PhD in physics from Trinity College, Dublin.
Prior to joing Kerry in 2006, Brenda held management roles in Operations and Supply Chain at Procter & Gamble and The Coca-Cola Company. Prior to her promotion to Chief Information and Process Officer in 2015, she served as the Programme Director for Kerryconnect (SAP deployment). Brenda holds a BSc and PhD in Industrial Microbiology from University College Dublin, and an MSc in Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University.
